
in class we watched and analysed a documentary on Mike Tyson. It is a reality TV documentary which focuses on the life of extraordinary boxer who was on top of the world.
The opening of the documentary instantly grabs the audiences attention as the the 'Rocky' theme is used to portray the power and resilience of Tyson. It also connects the audiences familiarities with boxing. The titles used in the documentary are bright colours such as green and yellow which may signify the ups and downs of Tyson's life. The titles are also bold and very masculine for instance when Mike Tyson's name appears on the screen the director has used a flame orange colour to signify the strength of Tyson.
There is footage used of Mike Tyson when he is speaking about his pessimistic life this is symbolic through the dark shadows within the room.
